View Full Version : Today Plugin Problems

I have some questions/problems related to the Today Plug-in

1. It sometimes takes me 15 times before my selection under options will stick.

2. I am using the today options under email. Can I use a different plug-in under my dash?

3. Whatever option I pick for email the same shows up for my dash if I have dashboard today selected in both modules.

3. I have the battery bar finally selected and it looks OK. But if I go to another module and back, it shows part of the battery bar screen and part of the screen I just looked at. The same goes if I try another option under dashboard today.

I am using 1.5.001a and I have a Compaq 3955

Hi,

Are you using the latest version of the Today module available from our website? That almost sounds like the old version (at least #1 does). I will have to investigate the others though.

It looks like I had the older plugin. So far so good with the latest version.

Remember the rotating skin problem I brought up several months ago? Will you be working on that also?

Yep, I remember it - I thought I worked on it for 1.51...

Sorry, I didn't know it was taken care of in the last release. In any event, I had no problems rotating the skins every 5 minutes. I will change it to every day and contact you if that time frame is a problem. However, I do not expect that it will be.

I have my skins set to rotate every day. It's not working. The every 5 minutes setting worked but every day doesn't appear to work.

I usually have to reset my IPAQ at least once a day (I am beta testing several products which I am sure is the reason for this) and I am wondering if the setting gets confused when you do a soft reset.

If I don't do a soft reset on my IPAQ within a 24 hour period, the skins rotate. If I happen to do a soft reset within that period, it doesn't rotote.

I have this same problem. It made sense to me that the rotation got interupted by the soft reset but it did not make sense that they would stop all together.

Ok, that helps to narrow it down for me - I will take a look and see what may be happening and get it fixed.
