Using Dashboard (registered 1.5), I get lockups, no network capability, etc. Usualy have to soft restart, sometimes to no avail.

Device is a Toshiba e550g and several 802.11b CF cards. Swapped cards (Netgear for Linksys) but still having the problems.

Stopped using dashboard for a day and no problems.

I REALLY like dashboard, but this is a show stopper.

Anyone else have any problems with wireless networking and dashboard? Any suggestions for debugging? Is it a XScale thing?

UPDATE: It seems to be ok when running outside of Today...but that's not very good...

Hi,

I'd be interested in hearing other people's experiences with this also. I don't think it's an XScale thing as it seems to work with the Compaq XScale device OK.

Thanks!

I'm using it in an e740 and it works fine.

Chris,

Here is something I just stumbled upon. I have an E740 with the new Toshiba wi-fi upgrade installed. If I have Dashboard enabled and my wi-fi goes into power save mode I can't turn it on anymore without a soft-reset. I have tested it over and over again and it consistently happens if Dashboard is enabled. I am running the latest release.
