Disable it from within the program. It's in the options menus somewhere, though it has been over two years since I ran Banana, so I forget where. Once disabled from within, soft reset, then uninstall. Should work.

Hi,
Yep - just Exit the program and then you should be able to uninstall it. You cannot uninstall it while it is still running so that is what you are seeing now.
Thanks!

I have the same problem. I can't uninstall BananaPC, and I can't even close it. It has messed up the whole screen, so I can't even see the "Start" button. Across the top I see the "X", another icon, and the sound icon. That's it!
Should I try a soft reset? Is that with the button on the back?
Help me get this thing off my PocketPC!

Me again (Unregistered Guest).
I tried the soft reset. At least I can see the Start button now. But I can not close BananaPC. I still see the "X", icon, and sound icon, so I guess BananaPC is still running. But when I try to close the program from Settings - System - Memory - Running Programs, the BananaPC program is not shown as running. In fact, there is nothing in the Running Programs List.
Help! I want this thing off of my PocketPC!

Okay, don't you ever say I didn't do anything for ya! ;)
I just downloaded and installed Banana onto my iPAQ 3835. I found no shortcut in my menus, so I went to the \Program Files\Snoopsoft\BananaPC folder and tapped it there to launch, which it did. I played around with it for a minute, to refresh my memory as to it's functions, then did a tap&hold on the 'x' and then tapped Exit on the menu which appeared in about a second. Banana closed. Then I tapped Start/Settings/System/Add Remove and saw it at the top of the list. I tapped it there, then tapped Remove, and tapped Yes to the 'Are you sure...?' pop-up. It took about 10 seconds of hourglass nonsense, then it was gone from the list. That's all. If it isn't that dead easy for you, I suggest re-installation and then following my steps exactly. If it still fails, and you are certain you have done exactly this, then I suggest you write here again asking for help, and explaining fully every single thing you have done, in exact order.
