How does Amazon's preorder work? Do they charge your credit card right away, or do they wait until it has been shipped?
Thanks!!!:D

I believe they charge your credit card once the item has shipped. I remember cancelling a pre-order one time without any difficulty at all (they had not charged my card yet).

The pictures are obviously not correct, but they have some specs. :)

Steve,
I've seen the specs and information on all the models you mention except the 5150 (!) I'll have to take a look and see if I can scare some up. My guess is that it doesn't have any wireless option so the information wasn't available through my favorite seive, the FCC :)
Here's what I've been able to learn about the 19xx and 22xx models:
Source: h19xx documentation (https://svartifoss2.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/prod/oet/forms/reports/Search_Form.hts?mode=Edit&form=Exhibits&application_id=147393&fcc_id=NM8HB20) and h22xx documentation (https://svartifoss2.fcc.gov/cgi-bin/ws.exe/prod/oet/forms/reports/Search_Form.hts?mode=Edit&form=Exhibits&application_id=486984&fcc_id=NM8GREATWALLA) filed with the FCC
The additions to the 1900 line include the h1930, h1935, h1937, h1940, and h1945 models. All of these models have 64MB of RAM (56K usable for programs and storage). The 194x models also have 14MB of flash ROM File Store. All models use the Samsung S3C2410 processor with the 193x models running at 206MHz and the 194x models running at 266MHz. The Samsung processor is based on the ARM4 core like the StrongARM rather than the ARM5 core like the XScale and OMAP. The 194x models also have a built-in BlueTooth radio which supports the Basic Printer, Dail-Up Networking, FAX, File Transfer Protocol, Generic Access Protocol, Hard Cable Replacement, LAN Access (client), Object Exchange, Object Push, Personal Area Network, and Serial Port profiles. All new 19xx models also have full SDIO support. They use the same batteries and transflective display that is used on the 1910 iPAQ.
The h2200 models have an interesting memory specification: 64MB SDRAM or greater and 32MB ROM or greater. These iPAQs use the Cotulla (ARM4 core) processor, running at 200MHz or 400MHz. The Cotulla processor was the successor to the StrongARM and includes a number of enhancements for better performance with video and graphics processing. As is well known through rumors, the 2200s also sport both an SD and CF slot. The SD slot is fully SDIO capable. Like the 545x series, the 2200 series adds a microphone input as well as the stereo output. Like all current-model iPAQs the 2200s have a removable rechargable battery. Unlike the 1900 models, the 2200 models also implement a full serial port as well at the USB port in the cradle connector. The 2200s also have the Nevo Universal Remote application/hardware that was built into the 39xx and 545x iPAQs. Some 2200 models also have built-in BlueTooth radios which support Serial Port, LAN Access (client), Dial-Up Networking, Information Exchange, File Transfer, Print, and Personal Area Network profiles.
Since the FCC has now approved these devices, it's a certainty that thes specifications will be the ones found in these devices when they hit the sales channels.
