No more dashboard??!!!

Hi all,

Hopefully someone here can help me with a couple of strange problems:

1) I just reset my ipaq (3835) and all of a sudden - no more dashboard!!!! It's not listed in the today screen Item checklist either so I couldn't recheck it. It is still listed in the program list - double checked that so it obviously wasn't removed by accident.

2) The other weird thing that just happened is "money" isn't in the list of things to sync. Everything else is fine and checked off that that particular option isn't even there. I went to reinstall even tho that wasn't removed either and a message box popped up saying pretty much it was installed but couldn't sync since I don't have Money installed on the desktop - WHICH i DO !!!!

Very strange!

Any suggestions on these two strange phenomena would be greatly appreciated.

Wow - sounds like a glitch when you reset. Did you try another reset and did that help?

One other thing to try would be to reinstall Dashboard and see if it comes back.

Yep, did the reset thing quite a few times and also reinstalled Dashboard.

I did figure out that it's a Battery Pack issue. I uninstalled that and Dashboard came back (same with Money). However, when I reinstall Battery Pack, Dashboard completely goes away and like I said, it's not even listed in the Today items for me to check off when Battery Pack is installed.

It's really weird since the two worked all along really well, although both battery and journal packs are working as plugins under Dashboard's "Task" section..

Anything else you think I might try?

P.S. I have a email out to the Omega One Battery Pack people to see if they know what's up with this also.
