View Full Version : Enhanced mail - no Services showing

Hi all - using v1.5.001a of dashboard (english pocketpc 2002) - and loaded the Enhanced Mail Pocket PC v1

I have the Enhanced mail selected (by double tapping the mail icon and ensuring that "Mail - Enhanced" is selected, but when I click on inbox to show my mail folders, I see a blank screen (no text, just pure white...)

now when I go into the inbox app, I can see my e-mail service (created by Commontime Cadenza) and can see the various folders that I've got synched, etc.

I must be doing somethin' silly. Any takers?

Too the best of my knowledge Dashboards mail plug in both the basic and enhanced can not see sub folders.

If you wish to view mail it must be directly in the INBOX.

I hope this helps explain a bit for you.

Thanks for the quck response.

The inbox is being synched (as I can see it in the MS inbox application - however, Dashboard doesn't show me any of my mail services - a completey blank screen.

If you tap on the area where it says Inbox on the dashboard screen you can change which service or box is showing. eg. read, outbox, draft etc. Just a thought, that maybe your assuming it sees something automatically. If you can still not view mail consider doing a reinstall. ;)

I've tapped the screen to bring up the "services" list, but the screen is completely blank (i.e. the top bar (wisbar) is there and the bottom bar are there, but the rest of the screen is completely white - no text.

I've done a couple of reinstalls (along with appropriate soft resets) and nothing works.

(I even did a hard rest over the weekend to clear out some unfriendly's, but no avail...)

Have you considered giving the beta of dashboard a try. I would think that any recent changes to the Enhanced mail module would have been designed around the newer versions of Dashboard. This may have inadvertantly caused issues on previous versions of Dashboard.

enter the email you used when you purchased Dashboard along with your order confimation number to access all current Dashboard releases including any available public betas... keep in mind that using a beta means the software is incomplete and may have other bugs to be worked out. just report any other bugs here in this forum so Chris knows about what users are experiencing.

I am sorry however I am out of any other ideas... I hope this works for you.

I am having the same problem as Patrick. I have an Ipaq 3870 ,english pocketpc 2002 and Dashboard v2.0.026 Beta which I just loaded. I had the same problem when I was on the Compaq version as well as version v1.5.001a

Please help
