Hi,

I was running Battery Pack and had no problem but all of a sudden after a recent reset. I've lost dashboard!!!!!

On the today item settings Dashboard isn't even there to be checked off!!! If I remove Battery Pack everything is fine again but once I reinstall Dashboard the Agenda screen is blank and none of the dashboard icons are there.

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling both several times but can't get them to work together.

Does anyone know what could have possibly happened - they were working fine together up until yesterday.

THanks for any help,
Linda

uh oh... you are the same linda over on wincustomize...
I had some issues with Battery pack as well. It writes text outside of the desktop area, like right on the start menu's task bar. Once this went wrong I could do nothing to get it running properly.
Your situation is different. Make certain that on the today screen setting you do not have any other plug ins checked off "only dashboard" then run any of the plug ins from with in dashboard.

Outside of that I recommend doing a full uninstall of both programs. and clean out (delete) the registry keys containing any reference to Snoopsoft, dashboard, battery bar and omega one. Make sure that the install folders they created are also deleted.

navigate to \windows\appmgr and delete any references in there as well. You will find .dat files get rid of the ones that are from snoopsoft, dashboard, omega one and batter pack.

BTW... I don't think batter bar is the meter your looking for on the ChromePDA skin... there is a freeware plugin called todays info that looks like that.

I hope you find some of my info useful or even helpful

Hey Static,

Yep, that would be me. I've been having all kinds of problems on and off for about a month now with my iPaq. I finally did a hard reset, got almost all of my stuff back from both an old partnership and a storage card and then came across this glitch later (it was working right after the hard reset for a while).

The battery pack issue: Instead of going through all that junk with the registry (still burnt out on all the problems from last weekend) I think I'm going to instead use the link you showed me. That's the one I really, really like and that's on the Chromepda Dashboard skin I like so much, and I thank you for showing me the link. I like the way those meters look and it's a lot simpler than all the battery pack stuff anyway, most of which I never use.

So, thanks again for all your info and help - as you can see you were a GREAT help,
Linda
