PI doesn't launch when tap appt or task

If I tap an appointment, task or contact in ver 2.0.026, the item opens in Outlook, not PI even though I have PI setup in the quick lauch options. In the quick lauch options, I have tried using both the pocketinformant.exe file and the individual shortcuts in windows\startmenu\programs\pocket informant\... I do, however , have PI installed on my storage card instead of main memory. Is this the cause?

Do you have PI set up to override PIM shortcuts?

Hammer->Advanced->Override System PIM shortcuts

Then you don't have to have the quick launch shorts set.

Yes, PI is set to override PIM shortcuts and I verified the outlook shortcuts did open PI. Any other thoughts?

Sorry, it works... just my lack of familiarization of PI. I didn't recognize the difference in the PI view. I noticed the difference after i clicked the edit button for the item. Then it was clearly PI opening the item.
