Hi,
SnoopSoft Dashboard v2.0.033 BETA is now available for download from the order lookup site.
Changes for this release:
* Still smaller memory footprint on the main program itself (not the modules).
* Fixed the Font changes not doing anything in the Options.
* Fixed part of the soft-reset issue when changing skins. I tried it with 4 or 5 Today items and it worked fine. If I try it with the Today JournalBar on my Pocket PC 2003 enabled it soft resets. Not sure this is a Dashboard issue.
* Added Task Sorting capabilities. Most of the code and translations for this have been in the program for a long time just never completed. With the recent thread here about it I went ahead and completed this feature. Just tap and hold on the Task header to get the Sort dialog.
Thanks!

I'm still having troubles with themes. Just hard reset, and then install 33.

Hi,
I need more information to be able to reproduce it. What errors do you see? What type of device do you have? What other today plug-ins and Dashboard modules do you have active?
Thanks!

Chris,
I am using your program on an iPAQ 2215 with WM2003. Like everyone else here, I really appreciate your hard work on this program. However, like the above reply, I still have a problem with skins in this latest version. I had the same problem with version 232 so I had reinstalled 231 and it works fine. So when I tried 233 and did the initial soft reset, the skin I was using before the upgrade was there and worked fine. However, as soon as I tried to change to any other skin, all I get is a completely white background. I found that if I do another soft reset, the new skin will now appear. However, if I go back to the Today settings and make any changes (for example, checking or unchecking any plugin) I lose the skin again and have to do another soft reset.
I'm still happy with the 231 beta and will go back to it until there is a new one to try. Keep up the great work!

Oh - OK... I didn't look at that code for this build. Let me go back and see what's doing that.
I was mainly focusing on the soft reset issues - at least this problem doesn't restart your device.
Thanks!

Hi,
I put v2.0.034 out this afternoon to address the white screen after changing the Today Settings. Hopefully that fixes it for you.
Thanks!

Chris,
Thanks again for a quick response. I just installed the latest (v2.0.034) and it appears that you did solve the skin problem. I switched skins a couple of times to test it and had no problem. Again, I'm running WM2003 on a iPAQ 2215 and using several Today plugins, including Battery Bar and TodayPlus. This latest beta seems to be compatible with everything I'm using. It also seems a little quicker when changing skins than the previous betas. I didn't mention this before, but I had noticed a fairly good lag time (7-8 seconds) after hitting the OK when changing skins under the previous betas before the settings menu would close. This was an action that used to be almost instantaneous. It's a little quicker with this latest beta, but still not back to where it used to be. I'd be interested is anyone else has noticed a slowdown in changing skins. (Of course, this could have nothing to do with your beta). It really isn't a big thing since changing skins isn't something that I'm constantly doing.

I continue to have an issue with the minilauncher plugin. It displays properly in the actual view, but it is duplicated in the setup view. A second listing for the mini launcher appeared after install. It was not there initially.

Hi,
I think I've finally found the issue with the duplicated entries. Look for the .035 update tomorrow to address that.
Thanks!
