v2.0.035 BETA

Hi,

Version 2.0.035 BETA is now on the Order Lookup page. I realize those of you who ordered over the past day or 2 have not been able to access it but it's a juggling act between putting a new release up and putting new orders up. I figure you'd rather not have to download 2 days in a row so I hold off a little closer to the posting of a new version. :)

This version fixes once and for all the duplicate items in the options menu. I think I finally got it figured out but only time and testing will tell.

I also removed all timing delays in changing out Today Themes - I had a few in there due to the instability that was being reported but there's no reason to keep them in anymore.

For those of you who are interested, look for the Public (i.e. unregistered) version on the site soon. This will have some limitations in it since it is not the full release.

If no new major issues appear then it looks like v2.0.035 is headed for release next week as the new version of Dashboard. It's been a LONG time in development and it's great to get to such a stable release.

Hi,

No, unfortunately I could not get the JournalBar to work. I had to disable it to complete my testing and then re-enable it when I was done.

There's nothing more I can do for it - hopefully they will put out a new release that addresses the issues. It works great on my 2002 device with Dashboard though.

duh! I've been downloading the 2002 for my 2003 device! I just noticed the 2003 link is at the bottom!!

That's a hard question. You could choose not to disable your Journal Bar if you find that the reset is not an issue to you. Or you can wait for an update of Journal Bar to fix this problem. Btw, there's a new beta released, you can check up their forums for more info. ;)

Hi Chris, just like to know is there a way out to make PocketPlus to use the background skin rather than all white? Also for the email page, is it possible to have other accounts rather just restricted to ActiveSync account. Hoped this will be implemented in the next release. Thanks! :)

How to use a white page to show pocket plus?

I did not have soft resets before with Journal Bar.
What did you install first? Maybe that is the order... is that possible?

Hi,

I meant that I disabled JB inside Dashboard in order to test the program because when testing I am starting and stopping Dashboard all the time which caused JB to crash. I used other Today plugins while testing. Once I was finished testing I activated JB again inside Dashboard because as long as I don't change skins it works great.

I am not sure if I can do anything for PocketPlus or not. Most Today applets written for the 2002 OS and higher work fine in Dashboard using the skin.
