How to install beta?

I can get through the order lookup page now and have downloaded the latest beta. The page does not give any installation instructions however. (Hint, hint!)

Do I need to uninstall the current version before installing the new one, or will the new install replace the old one?

It will replace the old one.

Just make sure to deactivate Dashboard on the Today settings before install. Other than that, it will install over the previous version just fine.

I read the first response and installed the beta without deactivating the Dashboard plugin. It installed without error messages, but the Dashboard icons disappeared.

I discovered that the buttons could still be pressed even if they were invisible. I changed the skin from <Today theme> to something else and now I can see my icons again.

When you chose your skin, did you choose the <Today Theme> option? I've noticed that, if I choose that option, some of my icons disappear, too, but I can still "tap" that area and go to the menu, etc.

I note that both I and the previous poster attempted to say &lt;today theme> but did not quote the "&lt;" properly. (Thought this tidbit might help people to understand what the hell we were saying above.)
