IPAQ Newbie Post #
I am eagerly awaiting the delivery of my HP1935! My posting here is the result of intense research while finding the ideal PC for my needs and budget. This is also my first PocketPC. This site had had the most helpful articles and information compared to many of the other sites. Thanks!
After adding up all the money I have spent on paper organizers, mourning the trees I have killed, looking for lost notes and messages, and forgetting too many appointments and meetings, I am entering the world of the techno geek. I am semi-geeky at this stage-at least as geeky as an artist can get. I have a Dell Inspiron 4000, a digital camera, and am getting a computerized dobby for my production weaving loom.
My IPAQ should be delivered by Thursday! However I am wading through all sorts of techno-speak trying to understand the capabilities of my HandyHelper.
A basic glossary of terms with simple explanations and diagrams would be a new user friendly addition to the website. I will suggest other enhancements once I mind-meld with my IPAQ. (Yes, some of us women love Star Trek, Ray Bradbury, and other sci-fi).
I will continue my posts to this site in a semi-regular diary that records my "Adventures in Pocket-Land."
Read The Murderer by Ray Bradbury for an interesting look at the future of technology.
Going somewhere I have never gone before,
