Voice command software isn't that new. Voice command software that works reliably is. Microsoft is hoping to have done the later and is currently putting their "Voice Command" software for Windows CE handhelds and phones in the hands of it's beta-testers.

I could care LESS about Voice Command software!
I want the ability to have true ViaVoice/ You Talk it Types functionality in my Pocket PC.
Personally, I don't know why this kind of technologyhasn't been pursued, especially with WM2003, 128MB devices, and faster, battery efficient processors.
Voice command software doesn't do a thing for me if it also doesn't translate voice into text. I'd use that all the time!
Kind Regards,

That technology is in the works, but it requires more speed and resources than the Pocket PC currently has.
