eWeek (http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,4149,1369399,00.asp) has an article that discusses how many companies are not allowing employees to use camera phones due to their potential breach of security capabilities.

"We were just assuming that if you wanted a high-end phone, you'd want a camera on it, but that's not the case with the enterprise," said Cindy Patterson, vice president of enterprise sales at Verizon Wireless Inc., which runs prospective handset designs by a core board of Fortune 500 CIOs before deciding to sell them. "Fifty percent of the customers on our technology board said they couldn't have a phone with a camera," said Patterson, in San Diego.

Hi,

I have a Nokia 3650 in a school institiution and I have found it really useful for recording notes - such as taking a picture of something off the board. There are the obvious notions for cheating - i.e. taking a picture of some work and using that in a test, but the phone has all in all been a huge benifit.

That's very cool to use as a study aid, but I can imagine camera phones would certainly be banned during tests!
