Ulti-Planner is the Completely New Personal Information Manager with full Schedule, Task, Contact, Note, and Journal Support. Features found in only the high-end Time and Contact Managements Systems. Theme Files and ClearType make it look even better.

However, Birdsoft, the programmers of Ulti-Planner know well that Pocket Informant and Agenda Fusion have already made a name for themselves. Why would you try yet another uber-PIM? One reason is that you can get Ulti-Planner for $6. That's one-quarter the lowest price of the other super-PIM programs. Other reasons include:

Features:
- Full Contact, Task, Schedule, Note, and Journal Support
- Compatible with your Pocket Outlook Data
- Multiple Customizable Views per section
- Linking
- Category Icons and Coloring (with Complete Fast built-in Manager)
- Multiple Task Grouping(Category, Completed, Name, Priority, and Sensitivity)
- Multiple Contact Grouping(Category, Company, and Name)
- Quick Task and Contact Entry

You can try it or buy it through the source link above.

Last month I bought and installed Pocket Informant. I am not happy with it; it does not see the Notes files that I brought over from my Palm.

Today I downloaded the demo version of Ulti-planner, because Pocketnow.com said it was better.

I have NOT yet run setup for Ulti-planner because I don't understand what will happen to Pocket Informant on my iPAQ.

Will both Ulti-planner and Pocket Informant remain on the iPAQ?

Can I switch from one to the other and compare their features before I pay for Ulti-planner?

What format are Palm notes in? Pocket Informant should be able to read notes created by the Notes Pocket PC application, but, if Palm uses a different format, I wouldn't expect PI to find them.

Where did pocketnow say Ulti-Planner was better? I don't recall having seen a review of Ulti-Planner, and couldn't find one here by searching.

I haven't used Ulti-Planner, but I see no reason to believe they couldn't coexist. Other than RAM limitations, you should be able to install and run them both.
