RUMOR: iPAQ H6300 Phone Edition not going to happen?

I am sorry to say that this device will not make it to the consumer market.Also we have notified pocket pc italia to remove their pics and story. We will not release any pda with gsm anytime soon. Sorry."

Do you think HP cancelled this one, just like they cancelled the H5600? Personally, I'm tired of waiting for a Phone Edition iPAQ. I think I'll stick with the XDA II for a while.

BargainPDA seems to be down for me right now, so I can't read the original article. :( Is there any reason to believe this guy really is an HP project manager and not just somebody pulling a prank?

I wouldn't believe everything bargainpda has to say. They were the one said the Treo 610 would be released early March. And that's not the only thing they have claimed that would be released but never came.
