I just purchased Dashboard, and the Enhanced Mail for it, but the Enhanced mail shows no mailboxes at all. When I switch back to the default one, it does show the Activesync one, but once on Enhanced, nothing. On the Dashboard screen itself it shows " : 0 items" no name... click on it.. blank window.

I'm using a Toshiba e740, PPC2002, and it being wireless, 2 IMAP4 mailboxes.

Any way to fix this?

Thanks.

I have still to find a fix for this. I upgraded to the latest version (47) for both with no luck. The non PPC2002 version shows INBOX: 0 but the 2002 version shows just ":0" Clicking on either version shows nothing at all.

I also am having no luck with this piece of crap mail program... I know, I know, buyer beware. But it sure would be nice to hear from the author to know if he is working on it

That was helpful. Post your configs. Does the default 'inbox' work for you, etc.

Simply stating it's a 'piece of crap' doesn't help anyone and certainly won't get your problem fixed.

For what it's worth:
iPAQ 3835, WM2003, works fine. It also worked fine on the same hardware with PocketPC 2002, both with multiple accounts

Oddly enough, I had to do a hard-reset, and restored a backup from the 15th of April, (*45 version was in that backup), and now it works.. upgraded to 47 and it still works...but I made a backup today.. had to hard reset again...and restored that one, and it didnt. It's quite odd really.
(resets were due to one of them overclock tweaks... aparently my Toshiba e740 doesnt like 472mhz)

So it works, but installs seem iffy sometimes I think.

Well, you know if this had been my first post regarding this issue then I can see your point but this is not the first and not the only one. Many others have asked and asked to no avail and frankly I feel I can speak for the others that we are getting frustrated. We pay for some software and then receive no support. I have before gone into describing the issue in other posts and have directly emailed the author many weeks ago and have yet to recieve even an acknowledgment from him. So before you decide to fly off the cuff yourself and make comments publicly you too should investigate all the facts.

Thank you very much...

*shrug* That wasn't flying off the cuff. Those were legitimate questions. Frankly I've had problems with it in the past as well and never had any problems getting any answers. Just my .02. But I'm quite satisfied with the software personally.

But jumping all over people isn't the way to get informative answers.

Install MailFull242_Ppc2002_LGB81.zip (which was released with, but did not work with, Dashboard 2.045) -- it works.

Where am I supposed to find MailFull242_Ppc2002_LGB81.zip? All i know is that I bought the Enhanced Mail version from Handango and got a zip file called "dashboardv2045_mail.zip", which I installed and am now having problems with.

No offense, especially since Dashboard itself is a great product -- and I will continue to recommend it to my friends and associates -- but, I'm incredibly disappointed with the Enhanced Mail module that I bought a week ago. To put it simply: it never worked.

Being that there is no "customer service" number to call and being that it's been a week and I still haven't gotten any information on here on why it's not working and how to get it to work, I'm sure no one can blame me for being at a point now where I will contest the $10 credit card charge.

If a working version is ever provided, I'll be glad to shell out the $10. Until then, I am very disappointed with the subpar module being sold before it's really ready.

I agree, I also am very extremely disapointed...

Is everyone running the 2.0.047 Enhanced Mail Module?

That did address some of the issues that were in 2.0.045.
