Sorting Notes by category

Is there a reason that Dashboard doesn't have a view for the Outlook "Notes" app, like it does for "Tasks", "Appointments", "Contacts", etc??

What I am really looking for is a way to sort my notes on my IPAQ by category. Outlook allows me to assign them categories, but Pocket Outlook doesn't offer this ability. I was hoping that Dashboard would improve on this functionality as it has for all the other apps.

Any suggestions? Plug-ins??

Dashboard has never really done much with Notes - it's not really a full-featured PIM like Pocket Informant. I'm not sure what options are out there for this type of functionality though.
