Most people who use mobile devices on a regular basis run in to the trouble of carrying their mobile device around with them. A common solution is a backpack or brief case to help store such objects. But for some technophiles, this isn't an elegant enough solution. If you feel the same way, read on to find out about the SCOTTeVEST's 31-pocket Version Three.0 Spring Line.

I have version 2.0 which is good. THe 3.0 is fine, but I don't like the collar since they added the hood(which I thought was a good idea). It made the whole collar really puffy. I looked like I was wearing winter gear. And I live in Hawaii.

Thanks for the review! Please post your questions here and I will try my best to answer them. I am leaving for a week on May 6, so please forgive me in advance if I don't reply in a timely fashion.

It will be my first trip without email!

Mr. Jordan!
Thanks for making such a wonderful jacket. Seriously I can't go a day without it. The version 2.0 that I have I just love. I wish you still sold them. Is there any way I can still get the v2.0 in Large in black?

I just went to your site again, I have some more questions:
1) I have a question about the material. I see that there is now Micro and Fintex material. The 2.5 that I bought and returned was it the Micro? It was really stiff compaired to the 2.0 material. Is the 2.0 Fintex? Or something else?
2) I noticed that the hood is now removeable. Will the collar look closer to that of the 2.0 again if I removed the hood? I think that was my biggest problem I had with the version 2.5. People at work just looked at me weird asking me why I was wearing such a warm jacket. (I live in Hawaii)

thanks!
Roger Kanemaru

P.S. I liked the jacket so much I bought 3. Mine, one for my father in law who loves vests with pockets, and one for a friend. Also, you have some great workers on your phones. Friendly when I bought my jacket and caring when I had problems.

Yes, unless it was the special edition model, in which case it was rip-stop nylon, or the sport edition, in which case it is similar exterior material to version three.0 spring.

It was really stiff compaired to the 2.0 material. Is the 2.0 Fintex? Or something else?

The 2.0 is was made in both microfiber and nylon. The finetex and microfiber and thicker than the material used for the spring edition.

The collar is not as high in the newer versions.

I think that was my biggest problem I had with the version 2.5. People at work just looked at me weird asking me why I was wearing such a warm jacket. (I live in Hawaii)

I would suggest getting the Stone Three.0 Spring.

The 3.0 Spring sounds interesting. Too bad no black. But stone color looks nice.

Whats the difference in lightweight Nylon and lightweight Brushed Nylon? The Stone color is Nylon and the Olive is the brushed Nylon. Is the lightweight Nylon as soft as the 2.0 microfiber?

Oh, just to clear another thing up, you said that the 2.0 (normal, not SE or otherwise) is microfiber? It feels kinda like Silk and very plyable.

black is not a great color for warmer weather

Not much, except the brushed nylon is slightly stiffer and looks more formal. Non-brushed looks like a windbreaker.

Softer.

Thanks for answering my questions!

You're right, black is HOT. But the jacket looks more formal when I'm at work.
