A common feature on every Pocket PC is the four application buttons: they allow quick access to the most frequently used PIM functions or they can be remapped to launch applications. Vito Technnology’s ButtonMapper makes a claim to allow you to easily assign a plethora of functions to the application buttons. But does it actually work as claimed? Read the full review for details.

This sounds cool, but I have a couple of questions.
First, does ButtonMapper actually replace the standard Buttons settings applet?
My iPAQ 5550 has three tabs in the Buttons settings applet:
Program Buttons
Up/Down Control
Lock
If I run ButtonMapper, would I lose the last two tabs? I would hate to lose those.
I don't believe the iPAQ 2210 has the second tab, but it might have the third. If it does, you could probably check this.
Second, does ButtonMapper allow mapping the Up and Down parts of the iPAQ 5450 and 5550 record button?
