Dashboard

I recently downloaded Dashboard from Handango. In attempting to install on my iPAQ, when I double-clicked iDashboard.exe I got the "Add/Remove Programs" screen overwritten by a message "Retrieving application data from the mobile device". Dashboard does not appear in the Add/Remove list and when I click "OK" the screen disappears and the message "Program Installed Successfully" is displayed. It must be something basic I'm overlooking. I recently downloaded the the upgraded version and I'm having the same problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
