bluePrint TravelMate provides you with a suite of travel-related modules giving the most up to the minute and pertinent information relevant to all your travel needs, all from a single central launcher program.

Modules are constantly being developed. Currently, the Professional version of TravelMate ships with the following:

Itinerary - stores journey information such as flight details - (departure and arrival airports, date and times, airlines, flight codes, confirmation codes), city destination maps - (internet connection required), hotel bookings - (rate, telephone number, check in and out dates, confirmation codes), car rental details - (pick up and drop off points, agency, rate, type, confirmation codes) and custom entries - (cities, currency, costs, start and end dates).
Any itinerary may be synchronised to your Outlook calendar.

Schedules - allows the user to search for any scheduled flight from any specified city / airport to any other destination city / airport for a specific day or time. (In association with OAG)
Flight Check - check any scheduled flight worldwide for status; on-time, delayed, landed, baggage in hall etc. (In association with OAG)

Mapping / Points of Interest - Utilising Microsoft MapPoint, the Mapping module presents maps of cities, routes and points of interest. A drop-down list of countries, indicating detailed city maps, that are available from MapPoint, with associated points of interest and routing information. Select from over 30 types of points of interest from nightlife, restaurants, cinemas and theatres to ice rinks, petrol stations and hotels. Display street addresses, quickest or shortest route between two points, options for zooming and routing appear at the bottom of the map display. (In association with Microsoft MapPoint)

Translator - Translates from English to 8 main European languages, and vice versa. English to Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Greek, Russian and back again! (In association with Systrans)
Conversions - A handy utility for quick conversions of the following measures - distances, areas, volumes, speeds, weights, temperatures, clothing sizes (women, men and children - UK, USA , EURO, JAPAN, AUS), shoe sizes (women, men and children - UK, USA , EURO, JAPAN, AUS).

Utilities - Includes 7 day weather forecasting worldwide, latest currency exchange rates and access all world Time zones.

Wow, those are some prices. I know that MobiMate (http://www.mobimate.com) charges $70 for WorldMate Pro, but they also have a $30 Standard Edition.

TravelMate does more, with mapping and translation. However, Pocket Streets is free (and Street & Trips can often be had for $20 or so if you want to create your own U.S. maps) and there are other translation programs out there (although I don't know how much they cost).

You'd have to be a very frequent traveller, I suspect, to spend that kind of money. Maybe they could have spent less money on an annoying Flash-based Web site and lowered their prices a bit. :D
