What is static.vpptechnologies.com? The PocketNow home page is hanging while waiting for static.vpptechnologies.com to do something.

Brandon, I figured as much but why do they hog all the resources when loading pages?. I now notice another one itxt.vibrantmedia.com. Watch how long the status reports "transferring data from...." Could this be a problem with Firefox? The "transferring message has been here since I started writing this response. It took several minutes before Firefox rsponded to scroll via my mouse's scroll wheel.

A few minutes -- wow, I've never experienced that. The delay is causes by the ad code having to analyze the site text, reference it from another source, and display the appropriate ads. It's a new kind of ad that is more targeted based on page content.

Try clearing your cache - not sure what else to suggest.

Hi Brandon,
Sorry but it only worked one time. I just tried loading the home page and clicked into "Discussions" after waiting 3+ minutes for static.vpptechnologies.com to do something. I gave up waiting for it to do it's thing. Is anyone else reporting similar problems? I even disabled Zone Alarm with no improvement. Something isn't right.
