Freeze on startup

My O2 xda atom often freezed on startup screen when I do soft reset. Sometimes, I even had to keep pressing the softreset button until it success to loadup the today screen. Could anyone tell me what is the problem?:confused:

Do you have any programs installed on a storage card that run at startup like today plugins? If you do make sure the card is in the device when you startup your atom.

Actually, I would recommend not running any software from a storage card that you need at startup. That includes Today plug-ins as well as other programs that may be in your Startup folder or run automatically (like some utilities).

If that doesn't solve the problem, I'd recommend either uninstalling programs until the issue is found or doing a hard reset and seeing if that fixes the problem. If a hard reset works, install programs one by one ensuring that everything still works.

I tried hardreset before even reinstall the latest ROM but it's still not working...

Is the device connected to the AC power or a sync cradle when you do the soft reset? This Verizon XV6700 thread (http://discuss.pocketnow.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=18912) says that can cause that Pocket PC Phone to lock up on the startup screen. Since both devices are built by HTC, maybe you have the same problem.

It's still the same sometimes even I didn't connect anything with my device

The freeze on startup problem just disappeared after i installed spb pocket breeze3 on my device. Thanks to spb softwarehouse.:)

I'm not sure why installing a Today screen plug-in would stop a freeze (unless it replaced another plug-in that was freezing).

Sorry...Actually it's spb pocket plus. Beside installing this, I also disable the O2 plus shortcuts on tho today screen
