Neuros has generously offered us a second Recorder 2 Plus to giveaway to pocketnow.com readers! As a reminder...

The Neuros MPEG4 Recorder 2 Plus allows you to record digital media from TV, cable box, DVR, gaming console, or camcorder, onto a huge variety of flash memory formats: SD, miniSD, microSD, MMC, CF, and Sony MS Duo/Pro. The new “Plus” model also adds 3GP recording.

Imagine the possibilities: record your favorite episode of The Simpsons, pop out the card, place it into your Smartphone or Pocket PC, and you’ve got entertainment for the subway ride to work.

To enter the contest, the instructions are a bit difference this time: visit the Recorder 2 Plus website (http://www.neurostechnology.com/store/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=DigitalInnovationsCatal og&product%5Fid=4030200&keyword=psp&searchcat=products%20), and tell us a time when having the Recorder 2 Plus would have made your life a bit easier (or more entertaining).

Contest ends this Thursday, at 8PM Pacific, and is only open to readers in the United States. Good luck!

Wow! Thanks, Neuros and PocketNow! My parents are both in their 80's and people send me emails, photos and videos to show them. Unfortunately, the screen of my PDA is too small for them to see clearly, so to be able to show them on their TV would be extremely helpful. And watching tv programs when traveling would be a big plus for me, too!

I was one of the poor saps waiting in line at 12 AM on Black Friday to get a cheap laptop for my father who had a stroke and doesn't like talking since his speech is now slurred so he likes to email everyone-- about everything. He also likes to play Solitaire, and other simple PC games, to help him with his hand-eye coordination so I thought a cheap laptop ($100 after rebates) would be a great gift for him! :)

It was cold, raining and I had nothing to keep me entertained. If I had a Neuros Recorder 2 I could have recorded some of my favorite TV shows then transferred them to my PPC to keep me company and entertained while out there in the rain.

Unfortunately, I didn't have a Neuros to record those TV shows to watch while waiting in line 6 hours and by the time the store opened at 6 AM they only had 4 laptops in stock and I was 9th in line! Doooh! I went home empty handed... But maybe I'll get lucky this time around and Pocketnow will gift me with a beautiful Neuros Recorder 2 so I'll never be stuck out in the cold rain for 6 hours straight with nothing to watch on my PPC! :)

My company offers some very large video training selection. This Neuros device would allow me to bring those training videos on my Windows Mobile device and bring with me where ever I go. I can even use the video to show to my customers (I am in sales).
Thanks to PocketNow.com and Neuros

I'd use it to record my wife's soap operas for her to watch on my extra PDA (iPaq 2215) when we travel. Keep her happy!

Recently my mother-in-law had heart valve replacement surgery. We spent many hours in waiting rooms. Man! I could've watched Battlestar Galactica on my ipaq 2215 if I had this recorder instead of reading 6 month old magazines!

I could use it to entertain my kids in the car, at their sibling's events (I can't seem to get my 5 year old daughter interested in her brother's cub scout meetings), or any other time they are "bored". I could also use it to keep myself from going crazy waiting in traffic or commuting.

This would come in handy when shopping with your wife or girlfriend. I know it would make my shopping experiences alot better.

Thanks for running this contest again! Both Neuros and Pocketnow are coming through in a big way for offering a second oppotunity to win one of these. This is still on my Christmas short list for how much nicer it would make traveling!

Thanks!

I frequently travel and need a way to record shows so I can view them while I am relaxing out of town

Well of course there are those long commutes I take to work each day where I'm either napping (not very safe) from staying up to late to watch a show or sitting there bored (can't read because that makes me sick). I have converted some videos to memory cards, but it takes so long it not very inviting and you can only watch the ones you have so many times. No, this would be a great addition to my everyday boring commute life.

I commute an hour and a half each way to school three days a week and I work three other days. On Tuesdays I have a looooong 5 hour break between classes that I use for studying, reading and basically waiting for my other class.

The Neuros Recorder 2 Plus would help make some of those loooooong hours more entertaining because there are no fees required to record live TV, movies, or TV shows from any source (even console games)...sweet.

With no conversion required the files will play flawlessly on my iPaq and even my mobile phone...Sweeeet.

Without having to be connected to a PC, I could use the Recorder 2 Plus like a VCR to record directly to an SD card with NO HASSLE...SWEEEEEEET.

I'm getting A's in my classes so far but could use a little more entertainment. And as we all know, "All work and no Neuros makes Jack a dull geek." ;)

Man, I would love to get my hands on one of these. Over the years I have tried many different schemes and software products to get videos on my Smartphone. None really delivered an ideal solution. The Neuros sounds pretty fool proof. Good luck to me.;) Thanks for the contest, guys.

I have a wonderful 8 year old boy who is kind, very bright, but couldn't sit still if his life depended on it (and sometimes it does....LOL.) During the holiday season, taking him shopping is about as fun as root canal. If I had the ability to let him watch his favorite movie on my Samsung i-730 (Windows Mobile 5,) I am sure there would be peace on earth (at least for me). Thanks Pocketnow.com and Neuros for the chance to get this very cool device.

Happy Holidays
