For road warriors, a Bluetooth headset can be a big help for freeing up both hands. But what about a Bluetooth speakerphone? A speakerphone is usually louder, isn't as intrustive as inserting a device into your ear canel, and, in the case of the VR3 LCD Bluetooth Speakerphone from Roadmaster, can show you the number of the incomming caller. Sounds pretty compelling, but how was the execution? Read on for the review!

I bought this device and tried using it outside the US. while in the US it worked pretty fine (with the same mobile), but outside, the calling number just doesnt show up on the screen! if its all about the link b/w the mobile & the device, how should it matter where in the world it is being used?
It shouldn't. Does the Caller ID info show up on the phone itself when not using the speakerphone?
It wouldn't surprise me if Caller ID wasn't standardized in other countries/regions.

Just a tip on charging this unit w/o using the car charger. I actually charge it in my office via sync cable for my old Motorola RAZR. You could also use one from a Blackberry or most phones that have the same plug type. AND, if I want to charge it at home/wall charger... I just use the wall charger from my old Moto RAZR. I rarely use the car charger it came with... let's face it, who wants to have a cord across their line of sight? LOL
