Another desirable device will show up on the Verizon network next year. The Samsung i760 Pocket PC Phone sports 802.11b/g, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, and EV-DO connectivity. The spec sheet also lists Windows Mobile Crossbow as the device's operating system, which makes sense, considering that Crossbow devices are due to show up in Q2 of 2007. This looks like a very cool device -- if it's not too thick. Check out the image shown at Engadget Mobile (http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2006/12/22/verizons-samsung-i760-out-blackjacks-the-blackjack/), though -- the directional pad seems to be off-center.

Yeah - the image shown on Engadget Mobile is a completely different iteration of the device than the original i760. That wouldn't make sense that the D-Pad would be off center.
