Here's an interesting device called the S-XGEN. It comes in a UMPC form factor, but runs WM Pocket PC phone edition. It has a wide, 4.25" high resolution screen, at 470x270. It supports GSM connectivity (with no 3G, unfortunately), along with Bluetooth and WiFi. It has a full QWERTY keyboard that folds up. With no 3G, this isn't too compelling a device. Perhaps for some it could serve as a laptop companion for traveling light.
