If you liked the HTC Excalibur, then the Cavalier may be your next phone (if it's ever released). Compared to the Excalibur, the Cavalier has a similar form factor (candy-bar QWERTY) and a faster processor (at 400MHz vs 200MHz ) and UMTS/HSDPA connectivity. The Boy Genius (http://www.boygeniusreport.com/2007/01/16/unboxing-htc-cavalier/) got his hands on a unit, and put it through delectable photo shoot. It seems that HTC has postponed the release of the device indefinitely; my guess is that it's carrier-related. Perhaps T-Mobile is not yet ready for a Dash refresher, and Cingular doesn't want to sell a device that would compete with the BlackJack.
