Us faithful Samsung BlackJack owners thought that maybe, just maybe, today would be the day that we would see the official update to WM6 (and not the leaked ROM that leaves some of us with reception problems (http://pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=news&id=4389)), because of a tip dropped to Smartphone Thoughts (http://forums.thoughtsmedia.com/showthread.php?t=22947&highlight=blackjack) from a Cingular forum user.
Well, the ROM is delayed again. It seems that the issuing of the update is in the hands of Samsung, and not AT&T.
So when can we finally expect the new ROM? A user from the Cingular forums (http://forums.cingular.com/cng/board/message?board.id=samsung&thread.id=39281&view=by_date_ascending&page=18) comments:
The official word from an AT&T rep on the "live chat" is as of October 1st we should have WM6 in hand.
As much as we love WM 5.0, we're ready to move on. Hurry up with that update, Samsung!
