The HTC TyTN II has a new feature where the screen shuts off pretty quickly while you're in a phone call. This is nice if you're actuallying holding the device up against your head since it will prevent accidental touch-screen button presses. However, it is a bit annoying if you're using a Bluetooth headset while on a call and surfing the internet at the same time.
You can turn this feature off by editing the Registry as posted by y2Whisper on HowardForums (http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?p=9915952#post9915952):
\HKLM\Drivers\BuiltIn\RIL\EnableFastDormantDisplay DuringCall
Turning that to 0 stops that from happening.
Remember power off the phone to save the reg entry
Thanks to AlD044 at xda for finding it.
