O2 Germany has now announced the release of the HTC Polaris (http://pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=news&id=4602), which is dubbed the Xda Orbit 2 on the carrier's network. Specs are similar to the HTC Kaiser/TyTN II/Tilt except that the Xda Orbit 2 lacks a sliding keyboard.
What's nice is that the device can be had for only 99 Euros with a 2-year agreement and it features TouchFLO technology. For our readers in Germany, O2 threw in a micro SD card with TomTom and preinstalled maps of Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and major roads in Europe, according to the::unwired (http://www.theunwired.net/?item=official-o2-germany-announces-the-htc-polaris-based-xda-orbit-2).
