Matthew Miller of ZDNET recently posted an article (http://blogs.zdnet.com/mobile-gadgeteer/?p=679) debunking and responding to David Pogue's review of the T-Mobile Shadow (http://www.nytimes.com/2007/11/08/technology/personaltech/08pogue.html?_r=3&pagewanted=1&8dpc&oref=slogin&oref=slogin) for the New York Times. Pogue seems to have a lot of problems with the Windows Mobile 6 software implementation, and Miller's article points out his ignorance. Deleting messages seems to be a big deal for Pogue, but I guess he didn't notice the new "Delete" softkey in the message list or the keyboard shortcuts. For those agreeing with Pogue and thinking that deleting open messages should be easier, check out the keyboard shortcuts. Hold down the number 7 for half a second while you've got a message opened and done! It's deleted! That's the shortcut on the T-Mobile Shadow at least. If you've got a Qwerty keyboard instead, the shortcut is even easier to remember. Just hold down the "D" key. It seems Pogue also didn't notice the button locking settings. Is it really that difficult to go to the settings page and open the "Key lock" option?
