In a recent post (http://pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=news&id=4707) regarding another HTC plugin for your Today screen, the HTC Home screen looks clear (instead of translucent). I've seem some ROMs where the icons are in color and the fonts were slightly different, but didn't want to switch ROM versions and sacrifice stability on my device for the cool factor.

Well, I found out I can have it all. The folks over at XDA-Developers (http://www.xda-developrs.com/) has created the HTC Home Customizer (HHC) which will allow you to change to a transparent HTC Home instead of the default translucent image, add colors, change fonts, and do so much more to customize the HTC Home plugin to your liking. If you're interested in this customization capability, head on over to XDA-Developers and download the HHC cab file here (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=319308&highlight=htc+home+customizer). You can install the HHC cab either to program memory or to storage card.

In addition, if you like the theme in the picture, you can download it here (http://rapidshare.com/files/66658954/Blue_Theme_From_Screenshots.zip). The one thing that is cool about that theme is if you have the weather open on your HTC Home plugin, it looks like the sun or moon fits in with the scenary.
