With the exception of the Samsung i780 (http://pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=news&id=4712), the BlackJack II is the device that I'm most looking forward to this year.
The official word from Samsung, as reported by msmobiles (http://msmobiles.com/news.php/6893.html), is that the BJ II will land on the day before Thanksgiving, 21 November. More coverage coming soon.

went to five ATT stores in Southern California today looking for this phone. Half the reps didnt even know what it was, the other half said end of the year. One said friday. Any idea if its actually released yet?
Yeah, good question you pose. I went to an ATT store today myself and the guy said 25 November. It should be within a week now.

Hey Brandon, any reason why you would pick the BlackJack II over the Moto Q Global? I do like the scroll wheel idea on the BlackJack.

You know, they are both very compelling. The biggest difference that I can see in terms of usability is the scroll wheel. Also, the Q Global is much wider than the BJ, which also allows for a bigger keyboard.
Comparison chart of the two (http://pdadb.net/index.php?m=pdacomparer&id1=860&id2=914)

I actually like the keyboard of the Moto Q Global a lot. It has a very nice feel to it and the keys are a very good size. I'll reserve my judgement on the BlackJack II until I try it. But on the BlackJack, I thought the keys were a little close, but definitely not unusable. As for the scroll wheel, wouldn't it be nice if they kept it on the side as well as included it on the front? I'm the type of person who likes options. :D

Well, looks like AT&T is officially pricing it at $149 after rebate. Of course, the rebate requires a purchase of a PDA Personal plan , an unlimited data plan priced $39.99 or higher or a messaging plan rated $19.99 or higher plus a voice plan $39.99 or higher.
