There is a petition (http://www.petitiononline.com/tytn2vid/) going around asking HTC to enable video driver support. Petitioners claim that HTC hasn't made good use of the hardware architecture of the Qualcomm chipset to enable smooth video.

I think video support on the HTC can be better. Non of the drivers are enabled. The petitioners on the site claim that because the drivers aren't enabled, the camera and video function slows down creating poor quality photos and videos. I am not sure if this is because of the lack of drivers or because of the autofocus capability of the TyTN II.

Moreover, I am uncertain that the petition will do much, but if you're a Tilt/TyTN II owner and want to sign the petition to voice your concerns and support, you can do so here (http://www.petitiononline.com/tytn2vid/).

Wow, this is up to 878 signatures. I too wonder if the slowdown is due to the Autofocus and not the chipset. I personally am inclined to think so.

That all depends. I get major lag when clicking on buttons (doesn't happen all the time) and some screens do take a bit to load and move. not becuase its loading, but becuase its slow moving. try scrolling around. Thats more of a video lag. Or open and close the keyboard. the screen rotation is downright slow when compaired to other makers.
