The Asus M530w (http://pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=news&id=4214) gets unboxed on Tracy and Matt's Blog (http://www.tracyandmatt.co.uk/blogs/index.php/2007/11/14/asus_m530w_aries_unboxed).

The tri-band GSM and HSDPA Windows Mobile 6 Standard handset will probably not make it to the USA because of the lack of 850 band. However, it is an attractive device with some great specs--416 MHz processor, 256 MB ROM, 3.5G HSDPA support with front-facing camera for video calls, gorgeous 2.4" landscape QVGA screen, WiFI 802.11 b & g, Bluetooth 2.0, microSD expansion, 2.0 MP rear camera with LED light, and a full QWERTY keyboward.

This device bores the heck out of me - what's unique about it? The form factor has been done, it has no standout specs, and it's ugly! Or maybe I'm bitter because it's triband so we can never use it in the US. :p

I happen to like the design! However, I do wish it had quad-band GSM and tri-band HSDPA plus GPS.

I have to agree with Brandon, it looks like a knockoff of the Palm Centro to me. Also, I think it's poor design to have the MicroSD slot underneath the battery cover. Most devices now have the slot in an easily accesible slot either on the side or the bottom of the device. It would have been nice if Asus had included GPS in the device.
