This should work on most Windows Mobile 6 Professional/Classic devices. XDA-Developers (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=344319) forum members have created a cab that will create an alphabetical bar on the right side of the standard Windows Mobile contact viewer. Essentially, like the iPhone, you can just point your finger to "S" and it would jump to your first contact with an "S" last name, like Smith.

When used in conjunction with the TyTN II or the Tilt and the TouchFLO interface, you have more ways to access your contacts: finger scrolling, traditional scroll bars, type and search, or jump to the contact listing.

You can download the cab here (http://rapidshare.com/files/69445758/Random_Access.cab).

Looks cool. It seems like a nice enhancement for those WM users that do not have TouchFLO on their device. Me? I'm a Microsoft Voice Command freak. I rarely search using the contacts app. I prefer to just say it. Call me lazy!! :p

Just a note, but while the user may have created the cab, this is HTC software liberated from the HTC Touch Dual. The only reason I mention this is to highlight how HTC is trying to keep their devices competitive, and is not just sitting still, or only doing hardware work.
