Opera's probably one of the best alternative browsers to Internet Explorer on Windows Mobile today. However, a new company by the name of Ibis (http://ibis.ne.jp/en/browser/index.jsp?z=0&zp=) is introducing the ibisBrowser.
According to msmobiles (http://msmobiles.com/news.php/7009.html), ibisBrowser doesn't support AJAX nor JavaScript, but does feature a mouse curser so you can easily navigate to links, a tabbed browsing experience, and shortcuts. Moreover, the final version of ibisBrowser will probably be based on a $3/month subscription model.
