If you've got iPhone envy, PC World (http://www.pcworld.com/article/id,141281/article.html) has some suggestions for you. Even better, their top two picks are Windows Mobile phones.
Here's the list:
AT&T Tilt (AT&T)
Pantech Duo C810 (AT&T)
LG Voyager VX10000 (Verizon Wireless)
Palm Centro (Sprint)
Nokia N810 Internet Tablet (WiFi)
I'm not sure I'd agree with the Nokia Tablet, because it's not a phone. I did buy a Voyager for my daughter, though, hoping to avoid having to get her both a phone and an iPod.
Do you think any of those compare with the iPhone?

I wonder what PC world is thinking because neither the AT&T Tilt nor the Pantech Duo were designed for the consumer audience. They are more enterprise focused.

True, but I think consumers can get a lot out of Windows Mobile, too. They can make calls, keep track of their lives, play decent games, play music (and, with less success, video), E-mail, browse the Web (albeit not as nicely as the iPhone), IM, use GPS (with additional hardware and software in most cases), etc. Those are all consumer-type tasks.
Windows Mobile falls short on being as friendly as the iPhone, of course, but consumers who are willing to spend a little time learning their device will have a great platform, I think.

Ah ... another "list" about phones that are great replacements for the iPhone by someone who doesn't own an iPhone. If there's one list this year I wish we could have done away with its the iPhone vs. list written by the folks who don't own one, including lists by folks who have played with one for 5 minutes at the AT&T store because they don't really know either.
I'm not taking away from either of the WinMO devices they listed because the Tilt is a killer device and the Duo is a great concept as well, but for the target audience and the ease of use they aren't in the same playing field, nor are they even remotely close with the UI. (I can't speak to the Nokia, LG etc as I've not used them)
Anyway, no more lists unless you've owned the iPhone!! :D Especially if you're going to use a line in that list that says they look or work in a similar fashion because none of them do.
But Kudos to WinMo for being the top two!

True. Probably a couple of years ago, Palm users said the same about their devices in comparison to Windows Mobile. ;)

Actually, it was the other way around (well, maybe more than a couple of years ago). Palm said nobody needed color screens or multi-tasking or a media player or a full Web browser. They changed their tune (no pun intended), though.
