Today I was over at Google Trends (http://www.google.com/trends), plugging in various search terms and seeing how they're trending over the last few years.
I did a search of all the major mobile operating systems (expect for Symbian, as Google Trends won't graph more than 5 terms), and this is the graph that resulted. It's pretty representative of the changes in market share of each mobile platform over the last few years.
Windows Mobile is steadily increasing, BlackBerry is moving up quicker than Windows Mobile as more non-business users are considering buying a BlackBerry, Android is just starting to become significant, Palm is decreasing quickly, and iPhone is generally increasing.
