The E-TEN Glofiish V900 was first reported by UnwiredView (http://www.unwiredview.com/2008/01/11/e-ten-glofiish-v900/) to have a plethora of mobile television standards onboard, including DVB-H, DVB-T, T-DMB, and DAB reception capabilities.

Those standards mean that most of the world would be covered. However, US viewers probably should not expect the V900 to appear anytime soon as the two largest carriers in the US, Verizon Wireless and AT&T, have standardized on MediaFLO technology for mobile TV.

An updated picture (http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2008/01/17/were-guessing-this-is-the-e-ten-glofiish-v900/) is now available at Engadget Mobile. The device seems to feature a front-facing camera for video calls, so presumably the V900 will feature 3G in the form of UMTS or HSDPA.

It also has chrome accents going around (like the iPhone), a flush touchscreen (like the HTC Touch) and minimalist buttons (like the LG Prada Phone). All in all, not much specs are known, but it does look to be a nice looking beast.

You can check the Glofiish line of products here (http://www.glofiish.com/) for details.

Sweet phone but it doesn't look rubberized. That's one of my fav features about my Touch. Grip insurance! Also I wish ETEN would stop it with those joysticks and put in a proper dpad. I still may consider getting one depending on how the reviews go. Hopefully they'll throw in GPS SIRFIII too. Looks much thinner/sexier than the TouchCruise.

Hah! Yeah those joysticks are no fun. They seem to be a novelty.

I haven't used one, but if they're like the nub on the PSP, they aren't that bad. I know the PSP nub has gotten a bad rap, but I think that's because it wasn't good for precision gaming. For general up/down/left/right actions, it should be good enough.

In fact, you could probably get it to do diagonals, which would give you more control.
