The HTC Touch has beat expectations and reports are coming in that over two million units have been sold. According to Engadget Mobile (http://www.engadgetmobile.com/2008/01/28/htc-touch-hits-another-milestone-with-two-million-sold/), this is up from the one million units sold since mid-November.
Compared to the iPhone number at 4 million worldwide units sold, this is a pretty impressive number for a Windows Mobile device, which traditionally have been targeted towards the enterprise market and not the consumer segment.
