According to Brighthand (http://www.brighthand.com/default.asp?newsID=13763), iGo, the makers of the Stowaway (http://pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=reviews&id=263) line of portable folding keyboards, will be exiting the keyboard market. According to the company, driver development is getting too expensive. Instead, the company will focus on travel chargers.
If you've been looking for a good keyboard solution, now is the time!

Very... VERY sad news.
I wonder why iGo bought Thinkoutside's keyboard line and later chose to close it down. I have noticed that ever since built in QWERTY keyboards have become common, the popularity of full keyboards like these has decreased dramatically though.
It's a good thing I bought mine a couple of months ago :).

At least the WM drivers have been fairly compatible. Not sure how that will be with WM7 though.
I've had my keyboard since the Think Outside days and it's been the most "worth it" accessory for me since I've used it for a few years and that it's lasted a few generations of devices for me. I sure hope it doesn't break down since there may be no replacements. :(

Well, driver support hasn't been a problem for my WM6 device but the lack of support for softkeys would be nice.
I bought mine a couple of months ago for $30 at Amazon. I noticed it later became more expensive, but for that price, it wouldn't kill to get an extra one ;).

Well I actually first used it without the drivers (because it took me a while to find them) through pure HID and even though the shortcut commands were a mess, the keyboard worked great. So I would assume that if future devices still support HID, the keyboard should work.

Yeah I got mine to work without the drivers too because it's got built-in HID but I would really miss the shortcuts to say left and right softkey.
Hopefully the later versions of WM are backwards compatible with the drivers.
