Slashpower is providing MWg (Mobile & Wireless Group), formerly O2 Asia, the electromagnetic induction technology required for wireless charging. According to the::unwired (http://www.theunwired.net/?item=charging-mwg-and-splashpower-join-forces-to-offer-wirelessly-powered-smartphones), MWg devices will see this technology by mid-year.
Hopefully MWg will still include mini-USB into their design as an alternative to charging (for traveling and for the car) as well as for synchronization.
