XDA Developers' sandeman684 decided to go on his own and write a free application that would be considered as the successor of Microsoft’s retired Expenses tool.
Easy Expenses, currently at version 0.91, will be your perfect business travelling companion, with the ability to track, store and log your expenses.
It basicaly keeps track of your expenses, while offering the ability of entering your information by selecting from the following list categories: Currency (it only supports US$, EUR and GBP for now), Expense type (ie.: taxi, dinner, lunch, etc.), Expense date, Intended source (Employer, Client, Myself) and Paid with (Employer’s Cash, My Cash, Mastercard, Visa).
One other interesting feature is that the application offers optional program database location; you can now choose where to save your expenses’ log.
Besides being fully finger friendly (there is a 5 digit limitation while using this method), Easy Expenses (http://www.sandernijdam.nl/easyexpenses/) will soon gain smartphone compatibility (so just Touchscreen for now).
