Popular gaming titles are slowly coming to Windows Mobile. msmobiles (http://msmobiles.com/news.php/7597.html) is reporting that Electronic Arts (smart.eamobile.com) has ported The Simpsons and The Sims 2 among other titles to Windows Mobile while wmpoweruser.com (http://wmpoweruser.com/?p=775) is reporting that Lamity, a Second Life-like experience, will be coming to Windows Mobile in which 400 people can simultaneously play in a virtual town. Lamity is expected to be a cross-platform game, with Android support to be in development.

Traditionally, complex games like Second Life, of which Lamity is based upon, requires complex graphics and therefore is difficult to port to a mobile platform. However, Lamity is made possible with advances in mobile technology such as NVIDIA's APX 2500 platform. Also, with more devices sporting accelerometer, such as the Samsung Omnia (http://www.pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=reviews&id=1089), the Touch Pro (http://www.pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=reviews&id=1094), and the Touch Diamond (http://www.pocketnow.com/index.php?a=portal_detail&t=reviews&id=1077), we can look forward to new ways to interact with our devices.
