I've been using Dashboard, GigaBar and Today's the Day together, all quite happily, for some time now. I had even customized my Dashboard skin to make sure that all buttons were at the bottom of the screen and that the skin itself was shorter to allow for the space taken up by the Today's the Day picture. And, of course, I had the "squish Dashboard to the top of the screen" option turned off, leaving Dashboard showing at the bottom of my screen. Everything worked great.
Then I updated my Dashboard version to the latest registered version, and now I can't get Dashboard to stay at the bottom of the screen as it had before. Even with "squish" turned off, Dashboard still stays up near the very top of the screen, UNDERNEATH Today's the Day, with a big white space at the bottom.
Yes, I can probably add a blank space to the top of all of my skin images and then redo the "hot" area assignments for the buttons, but what a pain! Shouldn't Dashboard be behaving exactly as it was before in this regard? Especially with "squish" turned off?
These are two fine programs, and it doesn't seem like there really should be an issue with running them both at once, especially since one is functional (Dashboard) and the other is merely cosmetic. Do you have any solutions to the problem? Can this "bug" be fixed in the next version (soon, I hope)?
If I have to choose between the two, I'm not sure which I would choose, especially if I can find another program that won't conflict with Today's the Day...
