How do I change the font color?

Hi
How could I change the font color of a skin?
because some skin have blak o dark background and the font in black and I could hardly see what it says

You can very easily change the font color for the skin by editing the skin's definition file (.DSH). Check out the skins development page at http://www.snoopsoft.com/PocketPC/SkinsDev.html for more detailed information.

I download the sofware and change the font color and save the changes, but when I export the file to my device the colors are the same!, they don't change!
My device is a iPAQ and I have the Dashboard v1.1
