Dashboard users should take a look at its "cousin" in the Palm world at
http://www.pocketsensei.com/
This overlay for the Palm OS, called Silver Screen, provides changable "skins" that make operating the Palm more fun. Clearly, it is less sophisticated and functional than Dashboard but there is always something to be learned. In particular, there is a feature called the "Ticker." Like a ticker we see on buildings, it gives a moving (from left to right) display of the days events and tasks. Given the better speed of the Pocket PC over the Palm, this would be an impressive feature for Dashboard to incorporate in a future release (hint, hint to Chris). Other features include assignable "hot buttons" that can launch any program of your choosing with a click (including turning off the system without having to press the power button). Take a look at it at the site above and let me know what you think of it (and other features there).
